Judge rules Neo-Nazi with explosives and framed of Timothy McVeigh photo "Not a Threat"

In Florida, a federal judge ruled Friday that 21-year-old Neo-Nazi, Brandon Russell is “not a threat” and should be released on bond. Russell’s home was found with explosives and a framed photo of Timothy McVeigh. Timothy McVeigh was an American domestic terrorist convicted and executed for the detonation of a truck bomb, in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.

In Florida, where many terrible things happen, in regards to laws, hate crimes, and white privilege. This does not seem like a surprise to me.

Though there are no facts to prove this, I am sure there is two reasons  as to why Russell was not labeled as a threat or a terrorist:

1. He’s white.
2. He’s not a Muslim.

Many people often associate Muslims with being terrorists, when in reality White Americans are the biggest terror threat in the United States, according to a study by the New America Foundation. The Washington-based research organization reviewed the terror attacks on US soil since 9/11 found that most terrorist attacks were carried out by anti-government groups and white supremacists NOT Muslims. For all of you that think Muslim means terrorist, here is the actual definition.

FBI definition of Terrorism:

Terrorism is defined in the Code of Federal Regulations as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives” (28 C.F.R. Section 0.85).

The FBI stated Russell “admitted to his neo-Nazi beliefs”. They also stated that Russell is a member of a neo-Nazi  group called, Atomwaffen, German for “atomic weapon.”
